Jen and Dave spent a gloriously sunny afternoon helping out at The Hampshire Athletics Championships.

Our job was to deliver results from the track events between the photo finish tent, announcers and track room. We covered a lot of ground - Dave had the shorter distance to his delivery point but a lot more stairs!

We finished the day in true GoodGym style - packing down tables and chairs and returning them to the track room.

The team seemed very pleased to have us as there were no results runners the previous day. Although one gent didn't realise we were the runners as "normally the youngsters do it" - never felt so old!!

Maura and I were helping with pre ordered tshirts and hoodies at the Hampshire County Athletics Championships.

The system for the pre-orders was good but an extra layer of complexity was added by people who wanted to change the size they'd ordered or order an extra piece of clothing. Many different lists and bits of paper were used but hopefully everyone has gone home happy!
