What a month! We've done it. 3rd place on the January Challenge... now we rest zzzzzz

On Thursday - we got our running shoes on and ran 5km to help the community of Splott with litter picking.

We went 2.5km each way from Pen-Y-Lan library and managed to FILL 2 bags before we had to go home - which was in 20 minutes.

I'm urging everyone go get there and do a bit of litter picking - there was just too much for the 4 of us to handle.

Mikey and Pete even went on to run a half marathon! But there was energy all night from every member - especially Sophie and Ted!

We can't wait to get back out there and do some more litter picking.

GoodGym Cardiff noticed some litter outside the gates of a local school so we decided to run and tidy it up. We collected two bags of rubbish and also spoke to the hosts of Heart Breakfast to talk about all the good deeds GoodGymers across the UK have done this month. What a great start to the last week of the January Challenge.

A courageous group of runners braved this morning's rain for a good ol' morning's litter pick, mostly on a high from cheering on the junior parkrunners we were elated to have completed our second deed for the day!

Well, nothing like a good old litter pick to get us all loosened up and ready for digging 2.0 (Cardiff GoodGymers are just experts at this point, it just makes sense!).

We donned out Hi-vi's, grabbed our pickers and rubbish bags provided by Love Where You Live, and helped clean some of Cowbridge Road West

With the streets a little bit cleaner we had gathered 4 bags of litter, ready for our next task that was going to need a little more elbow grease!

Another day, another Goodgym litter pick! We have BIN going litter pick crazy during January, and today another 8 bags of rubbish were collected in a Post Cardiff Parkrun litter pick, covering the park and surrounding streets.
