Marsh Farm Futures, is a local community registered charity based in Futures House. We have office spaces where local businesses and entrepreneurs are based, community halls where local community organisations and faith groups regularly use the halls for their regular activities including dance and aerobic groups, maths and sports associations, to name a few.
In addition, we have a soft play and climbing wall centre as well as a cafe. The annual fireworks event regularly attracts 4,000 people and this year's event will also host a fun fair and food vendors.
8 GoodGymers have supported Marsh Farm Futures with 3 tasks.

it's been a busy time for community meals and we were asked to support at another Christmas celebration for older folk, this time at Futures House in Marsh Farm. four of us were on hand to help make the event go to plan. The first task was to decorate the hall and get it looking festive. our red GoodGym shirts adding to the festive feel, and of course a couple of Santa hats completed the look. Then it was all hands on deck to plate and serve the three course meal. Having eaten dinners ourselves there was then an opportunity to throw some shapes in the dance floor and burn off some of those calories before starting on the mammoth clean up task. But as always Vera and Ian and all the guests were really appreciative of our efforts and it was nice to be rewarded with some Christmas goodies too.

4 Goodgymers got that Christmas peeling as they tackled 60kgs of potatoes for some upcoming community Christmas lunches. Carrots, parsnips, sprouts and potatoes all needed to be peeled and prepared, so 3 workstations were quickly put into action with the Goodgym team taking the spuds. 2 hours later and a monster pile was prepared and ready to be stored for cooking. We hope all of the diners enjoy getting stuck into them later in the week!

Tonight, 3 of Luton Goodgyms elite were treated to a fantastic fireworks display at Lea Manor High School in Marsh Farm. This community led event is in its 24th year and is a really well attended. That's where we come in. Lots of people means lots of rubbish๐ ,or so we thought. It's fair to say for the size of the event the community were pretty good at disposing of their waste, however once the crowds dispersed the team were able go get in amongst the stalls and right up to the safety fencing and collect roughly 10 bags of litter. As ever the team done an amazing job, in quick time. Marsh Farm Futures were grateful for the support and I'm sure we'll help them with more tasks in the future (pun intended) Well done team ๐ ๐ ๐
