Spent a sunny Saturday morning marshalling at cancer research UKs pretty muddy event.

I was put in charge of the body bounce obstacle which involved a blast from the past space hopping around the cone! much fun was had and only two fatalities in the space hopper group.

Dave, Ellie & I (and Charlie the grumbling spaniel!) helped marshall the 10K, 5K and 3K Race for Life events.

There were heartfelt messages written on the Racers' backs, reminding us of their reasons to raise funding for Cancer Research.

We cheered, encouraged and shouted directions (and some might say there was no need for a megaphone!)

Abby and I took charge of the whole of Castle Field and 2 obstacles (The Journey and Durdles) plus the several hundred people running and walking under, over, around and in.

The participants all looked like they were having fun and we spotted a bride-to-be on her hen do, a few birthday celebrations plenty of wigs and tutus and even a bloke dressed as Pamela Anderson!
