Abi Bloy earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Abi completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Abi was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Abi Bloy run a race with GoodGym for the first time.
Abi has done their first race with GoodGym. Performing on the day is a lot of pressure; Abi's dealt with the nerves and turned up on the day to make it happen.

Brighton Report written by Tara Shanahan
After most of us had taken part in East Brighton parkrun we joined a group helping Park Ranger Lindsey plant 53 tiny trees or whips.
Step one was driving a stake into the ground with a mallet, followed by using a tool to make a small hole, planting the tree and tying the tree to the stake.
Now we just have to sit back and wait for a few decades and then we will be able to see a little wood that we planted!

Five brilliant runners joined me for our monthly litter pick around Willesden Green.
We began by welcoming Abi to her first ever Good Gym session and gave her a summary of all things good about Good Gym! There was a quick news bulletin. The first GG wide social of the year will take place this Thursday in Central London. Sign up here for further details when the venue is announced Also, a few of us are planning to attend the Beer and Burger run this Saturday, 11am.
The runners set off to collect the equipment from Elayne's. We split into two teams, which took a side of the street each. We were a HITT with many local residents who stopped to thank us for our work!
After the litter pick was completed, we were all feeling very chilly. What better way to warm up, than a HIIT session!! Liz explained the theory of High Intensity Interval training - alternating between periods of maximum effort, followed by a short recovery: 3 rounds, 20 seconds work, 10 seconds recovery: - jab, cross (right). - jab cross (left). - jumping jacks. - squats. Well done team, you smashed it!
The team jogged back to Elayne's to return the equipment. Finally, we did some cool down stretches before returning to the pub for a well deserved beverage!!
