Another week, another lot of flyers for Age Exchange that needed to be delivered to spread the word about Age Exchange's Christmas Fayre. It's happening on the weekend if anyone wants to pop by!
We all gathered at Glass Mill and made our way up the hill to restart the flyering where we left off last week. At that point I left the group as I needed to rest my ankle so anything could have happened after I split the group into 2 and set them on their way!!
The groups continued where we left off and got most of the flyers delivered. The rest Paul very kindly delivered this week.
Hopefully they have a great turnout! Next week we are off to Florence Green to plant bulbs.

A dead-icated group of nine left Glassmill and went over a scary hill and were joined by four more at Seniors where our task was to make Stanstead Lodge Halloween ready!
A cauldron of bats, a coven of witches, a cluster of spiders, a clutter of spiders’ webs and a fraid of ghosts were fixed to walls, windows and ceilings. A terror-ific time was had by all.
We celebrated Jenny’s 500th GoodGym good deed, a real hallow-queen, such an important part of our community.
Afterwards, Vic was an absolute star, making sure that Diane from Seniors locked up safely and got to her bus stop.

14 of us gathered at Glass Mill ready to plant the bulbs at Florence Green. Paul kindly lead the warm up and brought the group up to Florence Green whilst I tried to walk as fast as I could so not to delay getting stuck into the bulb planting.
Subo had organised the bulbs by tree and we were each assigned a pack of bulbs to plant with a variety of tools. Some more effective than others... A variety of bulbs were planted including daffodils and aliums.
We then moved onto our next task for the evening which was removing the stakes from the hedges that we planted a long while back, only if we thought they were strong enough to survive on their own without support!
We were soon done and dusted with that task as well and it was time to head back to Glass Mill.
Welcome Joshua to your first GoodGym session - hope you had a wonderful evening and we'll see you again soon!
We might be visiting Florence Green again before the year is out as they're expecting another delivery of bulbs from the council.
Next week we are heading to The Albany to tackle a list of jobs in the garden and of course the usual litter pick of the perimeter.

Our task for this evening was to deliver as many flyers as we could for the over 60's dance classes at Trinity Laban. The group gathered at Glass Mill where we spread out the leaflets between bags and also traded hats!
With most of the group running to Deptford, myself and Marta walked and met the group mid-flyering. We spread out across the estate and I delivered some flyers to Trinity Laban reception to spread the word as much as possible.
It's quite difficult to take photos at a flyering tasks and also to keep an eye on where everyone is but we all managed to safely regroup and head for burgers!
Well done to everyone that ran the big half!
