Today’s task was fun, 7 GoodGymers supplemented the big group of Wild Lakenham to continue making the banks an excellent habitat for lizards to thrive in the Summer.
A few of us also did some litter picking and found lots to tidy, including an entire bike.
A task that saw GoodGymers arrive to help at different times and stay longer or shorter depending on their day, but we did all gather for the all important group photo.

Today 7 GoodGymer's ran, cycled and walked to join the Friends of Anderson's Meadow local gardening group.
Tools were provided along with refreshments! We helped clear an area of overgrown unwanted plants to create a wild flower patch, improving the areas biodiversity.
Once the surface had been cleared and litter removed, some wildflower seeds were sown and stomped into the ground. We also erected a bamboo and twine fence to protect the plant growth.
In one hour the task was complete on a lovely sunny day!

Today 14 GoodGymers headed to Mousehold Heath for some conservation work improving the biodiversity in this area.
Shout Outs to Piers attending his first task, and Sarah for completing her 50th Good Deed.
We were clearing the slopes on St James Hill of a Broom plant, similar to gorse. Thus opening up more sledging routes in this popular spot on snow days!
After an hour the area had been cleared and the piles of shrub were carried up the hill and out the way.
We refreshed ourselves with hot drinks and biscuits by the coffee van. Well done team!
