This weekend, Gemma and Tom worked through more of the crisp packets, cutting, washing and ironing them into stips of 4. This community mission is about giving new life to one use plastics and saving lives. Just magic ๐Ÿ’š. There are others in Leeds involved in the project and we are working with other charities and organisations across Leeds to distribute the items and collect the crisp packets.

If you would like to get involved and help us to recycle crisp packets to make survival items for people experiencing homelessness a year, please get in touch or sign up to our repeat community mission next weekend!

People helping people thatโ€™s what life is all about ๐ŸŒŸ

Homeless Street Angels
Working to get the homeless off the street into a stable environment and way of life they are able to uphold, with continued ongoing support from the Homeless Street Angels

A Leeds based charity that believes that homeless and marginalised individuals are capable of change and will only achieve their full potential when offered a safe, supportive, empowering and non-judgemental environment โ€“ it is our vision to provide such an environment and meaningful activities which will help reverse the spiral of homelessness.

We are a small charity with limited resources, so jobs like this often fall by the wayside. It helps us to continue to focus on our core work, but also with compost, it means we can have less inputs and save money
