Report written by Michael
Our second social Walk and litterpick, this time meeting at the Blackweir Parkrun start.
Natasha and Martin had already met further up and were walking over to join. Michael was there with the bag of litter pickers and gloves, Nathan arrived with the pink litter bags and his two amazing children. Tabitha on the trusty scooter, with brilliant light up wheels was happily on litter spotting duty. Whilst we were encouraged along by Elinor in her pushchair.
We managed a good 3 bags of rubbish, lots of plastic (unfortunately) a part of a car and bits of clothing....There was the hidden party area, through a secret passage of bamboo to a fire pit, paper plates and 2 hidden chairs. All finished with a stop off at the Secret Garden Cafe for coffee and cake.
We wish a fond farewell to our lovely Natasha as they head off to Greece tomorrow. Expect a visit soon, I'm sure we can do a litter pick in Greece!
