Dave and Rachel got their goodgym t-shirts on and went to help Refugee Action Kingston by putting up a blind in their office but when they got there there was no-one there!

We left a message on their answerphone to get in touch to rearrange and went back home with the drill.

We are a local and independent charity, providing vital services for refugees and people seeking asylum

Refugee Action Kingston has been supporting refugees and asylum-seekers in and around Kingston-Upon-Thames for over 30 years. Against an increasingly challenging backdrop both in the UK and abroad, we have sought to be a positive source of support for our clients. One that focusses on matching the ambitions of our clients and their needs. We provide our clients with a wide range of support, from initial emergency assistance to long-term integration. Research confirms what we see every day: that language, employment, and housing have the biggest impact on refugee integration.
