The sun was finally shining! After a bit of a tricky start, i.e the Container which holds all the tools wouldn't open, Louise (Volunteer Leader) wrestled it open, and we set straight to work on tackling the weeds in one of the shrub areas, me, Liz and Hannah got to work - and then Linda showed up a few minutes later - as she had mistakenly gone to the other park where we do the gardening - so that was her pre-warm up walk/run for the day! We managed to get most of the weeds out in the hour and a half with the 'Friends of Cator Park' so it was a nice atmosphere, and congratulated Linda on her 51st deed and my 50th, and Liz's 2nd goodgym community mission after taking a few years break and recently moving to Penge, so hope to see you again at more Bromley GG's!
