Welcome to WWF x GoodGym’s Workout for Nature. From 7th April to 4th May WWF and GoodGym are collaborating on hundreds of sessions to celebrate Earth Day. Each session will involve a Workout for Nature - a physical volunteering activity which will benefit local green spaces, and give your own wellbeing a boost. Simply sign up below and come along. No experience required!
The Marston Community Garden cooperative includes a community allotment, flower garden, the Forest Garden, an orchard and a new Community Wood on New Marston Recreation Ground, plus much more.
This week we will be at OXSRAD mulching the young trees. If it has been dry there may also be watering to do.
Bring your gardening gloves. All tools will be provided.
Meeting locations:
* If you would like to join a run to the task meet outside the Up in Arms pub at 6pm.
* If you prefer to meet at the task please go straight to the recreation ground by the OXSRAD building for 6:15pm.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Anwen Greenaway by email at anwen@goodgym.org.
Comments are a good place to ask any questions you may have about the session.
