There shear hoes, there shear hoes again...

... racing through the all terrain; and I just can't contain, the weeding that remains.
More bank holiday shenanigans this evening with a great turnout of 21, probably our bank holiday record.
We welcomed 3 more new runners in Trevor, Justine and Phillippa.
Bill volunteered to be backrunner.
Tonight's task was helping out at Marlpit Community Gardens, a nice 4.25km each way trip (I did buy biscuits as a motivational tool).
I was very impressed in the time it took us to get there, a sign that everyone is improving their running ability.
On arrival we dished out some hoes and shears and got weeding, a trimming.
40 minutes later there was heck of a lot of weeds etc. turfed up and massive pile had been formed... very impressive indeed.
On the journey back we stopped for a bit of flossing, which in my case was probably the worst flossing you will see so don't worry, have a go at it because you'll never look as silly as I did... I think someone called me a massive flosser.
To top off the longer run we finished up with Grapes Hill before stretching it out at The Forum and of course topped off with a biscuit or two.
Next week is our longest run as we head to The Grow Organisation in Bowthorpe.
