Tonight's task was visiting our good friends at Redmayne View Care Home for a game of Bingo, something we've not done with them before.

A big GoodGym welcome to Andrea was doing her first good deed.

Congratulations to Jess for completing 10 good deeds and Rachel & Jonathan for completing 25 good deeds!

Thank you to Jennifer for being back runner this week.

It is one of our longer runs and this week was in fact our fastest ever GoodGym run, we were averaging under 11-minute miles... I'm sure there were a few people cursing me but everyone did fantastic and kept up the pace ;-)

We arrived at Redmayne to a lovely selection of refreshments, some of us hung around them longer than others haha.

It was then time for the big event to begin. We sat ourselves down amongst the tenants, who were looking forward to teaching the younger ones a thing or two about Bingo.

Sandra, the host, called out the numbers in the first game. I was so confident of winning, I only had number 85 left for ages, I waited for that magical number only for someone else to call out 'Bingo'... I could have cried.

Anyway, sulking that I didn't want to play again, I became ball caller for the remaining games (mainly to check number 85 was actually there haha). I think I have a natural voice for Bingo, some may disagree, especially when I was calling out the numbers with a mouthful of chocolate.

Generally, it was going very smoothly, we were near the end of the last game, someone close to getting a 'full house' then disaster struck! I reached over to get the potential winning ball, when somehow, I managed to tip the tray (with all of the other balls on) over myself and swiftly there were Bingo balls rolling on the floor in all directions. It was like a scene from 'Some Mothers Do Ave' 'Em'.

Despite a good rest and some refreshments, we then had to conquer the long run back, again still at a fast pace so well done everyone.

Next week it's a much shorter run as we visit Norwich Train Station to spread some mulch.

Pun credit goes to Darren
