Lew and Flo were back at Cardiff Junior parkrun again. Lew was barcode scanning, and Flo was marshalling in the playground spot.

The playground spot is a very tough marshalling spot, often having multiple marshalls covering the area due to the high slip and trip potential! Luckily, Flo was in good hands with veteran Cardiff Junior parkrun volunteer Carol, who quickly set up the cones. No trips or slips today, the weather was too nice and dry for that, but GoodGymers must always be alert!

Lew had a lot to keep him busy too, as this week was one of the busiest events for a while with 148 finishers! As always, every parkrun completed is an achievement, particularly a junior parkrun as these events are only for 4-14 year olds. And so we like to celebrate every achievement.

The stats:

148 Finishers 36 Personal Best Times 15 First Timers 4 runners had achieved a milestone wristband too! (An unspecified combination of marathon and half-marathon distances)
