On a soggy Saturday morning, Maxine and Angela met at Baffins Pond to help the Baffins Pond Association set up for their Fun Day.

Hilary kindly equipped us with some towels so we could start by wiping down some chairs that will be used at the stalls and by visitors to the fun day.

After we finished with the chairs, Cyril needed our help on the field so we helped set up some gazebos, carry tables and chairs to the field, and stake out a net to make a border for the main arena area. We also did a rather cracking job of decorating the tea tent with bunting.

Luckily by this time the sun was coming out and the clouds seemed to be moving off. Looks to be a fun day ahead at the Baffins Fun Day, with plenty of entertainment throughout the day!
