Mr G and his wife were very pleased to see Kash and Sevan. Mr G has dementia and his wife, who usually takes care of the garden, has recently had cataract surgery and was told not to garden for a month. Their usually tidy garden needed some GoodGym help to keep it up to standard.

The main task was to remove the build up of moss on the patio, which was mostly tarmaced with smaller areas of slabs at the sides. Kash grabbed the only stiff brush to work on the tarmac, leaving Sevan with the wire crevice brush for the slabs.

Kash spent the whole session scrubbing the green stuff off the asphalt. Over time the balance of green and black improved, with black being back by the end of the task.

In the meantime, Sevan had cleared the moss between the slabs. With Mr G's help, who had taken command of the broom, Sevan had also scooped piles of moss off the ground and into a waste bag.

While Kash was still scrubbing, Sevan then moved on to the second priority, weeding the flowerpots. He learned that all the pots were not equal and that some were Very Important Pots. Mr G's wife wanted the peony pots in particular to be weeded.

With the priority weeding done and the tarmac cleared, Mr G and his wife were pleased with the outcome. So pleased in fact that they wanted to refuel the GoodGymers to power them back home. Chocolate was offered and turned down, but bananas, well, Kash loves bananas and couldn't say no to one of those 🍌
