Tonight's task was leaflet delivery for Fitzroy (a charity supporting people with learning disabilities). They're celebrating their 60th anniversary with lots of events including a Spinnaker Tower abseil, sky diving and an ultra challenge.

We had a special guest in the form of Gordon who'd been lured by the promise of dinner afterwards!

We split into 2 teams so we could go into as many places as possible. We visited convenience stores with community boards, pubs, red phone boxes, JPC community centre, Portsmouth cathedral and basically anywhere that might put a poster up.

We reconvened at the Spinnaker Tower at the same time as the parade arrived for the sea angling championships. Still in the spirit of the weekend, some red GoodGym t-shirts were spotted dancing to the tunes!

Plenty of steps were recorded and hopefully the posters will be seen by people who want to get involved.

This task supported
FitzRoy's 60th Anniversary Challenge Event Leaflet Drop
A leaflet drop to promote our Spinnaker Tower abseil on 18th June 2022 and all year round challenge events

Helps to raise awareness of our services in the local community as well as promote opportunities to get involved with supporting our work through fundraising and helping us continue to transform lives for adults with learning disabilities.
