It was Wednesday evening and our merry crew met as usual in Leisure World. We welcomed back Hannah - great to see you again; we've missed you.

We totted up 12 of us and we made our way speedily through the park to FirstSite where we met Eddie. He was at the end of another long day of work and eager to get to watch his movie, so he took us out to the back garden to show us what he wanted done, and we did it.

Edging the lawn, litter picking, cutting back hedges and re-hanging some yellow netting to vaguely hide the building site next door.

Unfortunately, as our task was drawing to a close, the midges came out, and we all left with quite a few bites on our arms and legs.

We returned the tools, together with 6 bags of rubbish and offcuts. Bob found 2 flashing bouncy balls and gave them to the dog owners, Michelle, and Nicola, although they seemed to have more fun with them than their dogs perhaps would.

After a task well done, we made our way back to Leisure World and then met up in Luna Rossa for some yummy pizza.

Until next time folks!
