How now brown... jumper?
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Naomi House in Portsmouth.
- Friday, 7th of August 2020
- Led by Jen Stoneham
In a mercy dash to help out Naomi House due to a lack of volunteers, Jen, Jo and I did a big sort out in the store room so that lots of stock could be replenished and the £1 sale can continue.
Jen was a super hero coming straight from night shift and Jo chose to spend some of her annual leave helping out. Thank you!
We found some great clothes that are going out for a pound so run round to the shop and grab a bargain!
Jen managed to break the record for the most brown clothes found in a bad and Jo found a fair few gender neutral pieces in her first bag. Tricky when you're hanging and sizing based on ladies or men! We filled the rails a few times over and everything (except a few winter coats and a couple of expensive dresses) ended up out in the store.
We're back again tomorrow and Friday and Saturday next week too.
I got to wear my new 200 good deeds tshirt for the first time today too. Big thanks to Angela for her design work. 👍
