Area Activator for GoodGym Portsmouth. I swear like a sailor, burp like a foghorn. Human A - Z of Portsmouth. Ultimately charming.

team GoodGym participated in Run Things Run Up To Christmas challenge.
with a combined target of 310.7 miles absolutely smashed by the legends of GG with a final score of 575.8miles.
hopefully everyone enjoyed their December fitness activities leading up to the big day.
and it seems a lot of xmas day parkruns saw mass attendances with records broken. Bushy Park had 2864 runners 😳

GoodGymers old, new and from out-of-town met up at Southsea parkrun. The run was very refreshing in the seafront breeze, but the vibes were so joyful you could (almost) forget the chill. The perfect way to start Christmas Day!

Brightly-coloured plastics and the snowy sprinkles of polystyrene made Tipner shore look extra festive.
But Jen, Dave and I wanted to return the beach to its natural seaweed hues, without the trash.
As always, we were amazed at what a few pairs of hands can achieve in 45 minutes.
Unfortunately, Tipner trash is all year round, not just for Christmas. Extra pairs of hands welcomed in 2026!

Congratulations to Katie on reaching 500 GOOD DEEDS this evening! We reminisced on some of Katie's most memorable tasks over the years - so many fun memories!
College Park was remarkably tidy, but we still managed three reasonably full bags of rubbish on our turn around the area.
Good Deed complete, we went on a brief walking tour of local Christmas Lights, and even managed to collect the last two photos for the festive scavenger hunt. The evening was rounded off with a quick pub trip to celebrate an amazing year of GoodGym Portsmouth.
