What a load of Rubbish

Well done to GG members who last night stumbled along a lot of rubbish! Cans, bottles, packaging.... you name it, we cleared it! It did make us notice how there are hardly any bins around. We managed to fill 5 big black bags full of rubbish! There was plenty more rubbish to clear, so we will be back to help make it a nicer area for families to enjoy.

A big welcome to Maya who joined us for her first GG experience. We also welcomed Alys who joined us for her first Woking GG mission. Both have moved to the area and it was so lovely for you to join us and we hope you felt welcomed and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Also it was great t see our regular members Wayne and Anne who joined us for their first GG community mission since lock down.

It was also great to see James and Becky - two weeks on the trot!

Next Week

We will be meeting at Brookwood Station at 6:45pm. We have new exciting project starting here and SW Rail have allowed us to adopt the station to make a sustainable garden. If you are looking to run to the station from Woking Town then its just under 7km. It will be dark if you decide to run home again or there is a train back into Woking station that leaves Brookwood at 19:53 or 20:21 (£3.90) and takes 5mins.

Thanks so much for a great session - so nice to get involved with GoodGym again and meet new people which is something I've missed in lockdown :) Realised I can't make it next week as got my hair appointment booked in which has been in the diary for some time. Annoying as it's so close to me! But will join you all hopefully the week after :)

Thank you for welcoming me into your really friendly group. I really enjoyed my first outing with GG. It was great to be able to combine fitness and helping out. See you again soon!
