On a perfect weather condition morning 300 plus Parkrun participants ran/jogged/walked the beautiful Catton Park. Dave T (on his first volunteer duty) and I volunteered today and a number of Goodgymers ran their way around the Course. Dave was on token duty and was thrown into the deep end as someone had put the number tokens in the wrong order last week (not Bill and I last week we were only handing out ). That done he enjoyed handing out tokens, I love that job as you get to see everyone coming in, and Dave himself was 1st the other week I believe. As always Volunteering at Parkrun is very rewarding seeing everyone’s running “journey” each week, whether running, walking, jogging it doesn’t matter, you’ve got out of bed, joined the Parkrun Family and given it a go.
