So high that I can kiss the sky!
6 GoodGymers made their way on a training session in Chelmsford.

This week’s lockdown challenge was to see how much elevation you could gain in a single activity (cycling gain was divided by 4 to be fair). This was a particularly difficult challenge as Chelmsford is a fairly flat place, although there are a couple of climbs to be found. We had six GoodGym members enter including our second tourist in two weeks Julia from Redbridge, thanks for getting involved Julia!!
Unfortunately Julia’s cycling effort had to be divided by four which took her from a winning gain of 148m all the way to 37m. Jenny used the Admirals Park Hill – a nemesis of the Chelmsford parkrun route, as well as The Avenues which were also attacked by Laurie to make some gains. Even though they had completely different routes they both managed to get the exact same gain of 54m. David got lost on his effort which probably helped but wasn't enough gain and Andy might have overdressed a little for his effort which was a close second.
The winner this week though was Rich who gained 68m on a walk from Moulsham to the Tile Kiln area of Chelmsford and back. Full results are below but congratulations Rich and well done everyone for taking part.
- Rich 68m
- Andy 58m
- Jenny 54m
- Laurie 54m
- David 50m
- Julia 37m
