Today's sunny (it was so warm today that even Sam had shorts on) Saturday morning tasks at the Lido were:
- painting the pool steps (Val), thanks to Mel for priming them earlier this week
- wire brushing and priming the grating near the entrance ( Sam)
- sweeping the exhibition rooms (India)
- clearing the back alleyway ( Sarah with assistance from India and later Judy who joined us for a post task ice lolly!)
- weeding poolside (me)
We almost had to leave Val in the pool as she couldn't use the steps she'd painted to get out & Sam was up the step ladder but we decided we'd let her out!
We were also celebrating Sarah's 50th good deed, another black tshirt in the gang. 👏 👏 👏 Sarah wore the crazy hat AND the replacement celebration item of the 50 rosette!
There is still plenty to be done at the Lido but it is definitely starting to feel like we've made a big difference as each week we are building on what has been done before.
We had a nice visit to the Blue Lagoon afterwards and made it worth them opening today!
