Sterling Moss takes the Grand Prune on the final lop.
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Norwich.
- Sunday, 8th of April 2018
After completing a morning of unofficial GoodGymming at our grandparents and enjoying a delicious packed lunch (catering by the Dugdales), the Emerson/Dugdale sisters set off again for a 3mile run to continue with Mrs S's ginormous garden.
We started with pruning some of the large bushes in the back garden, weeded the gravel and flower beds, and then continued with demossing and sweeping the paths so that they were clear and safe to be walked on.
Helen had a few glasses of wine the night before so she stayed away from the heavier tasks and focused on clearing up the mess that me and Catherine were steadily uncovering and creating.
We had a nice cup of tea and a chat with Mrs S. and another half an hours tidying up, during which we found and cleared another 5m of path which was completely covered by gravel and moss.
All in all, a really enjoyable and productive afternoon followed by roast pork courtesy of Catherine. Still plenty of work to be done in this garden but we're making progress.
