With a number of volunteers dropping out at short notice it was a busy session for those in attendance at the Ealing Soup Kitchen this week.

The morning shift started with fetching and setting out chairs, then it was filling 20 food bags for homeless people and 50 for those with accommodation. We got a rhythm going with each bag getting a mix of fruit, vegetables, snacks, drinks and yoghurt.

The boxes were stacked away and recycling taken out, then it was time to pack away the tea station. There was even some time for some clothes sorting before the end of the shift!
