The path to a Lighter Wood
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Wildlife Trust BCN, Luton and Dunstable Conservation Volunteers, and Luton Borough Council Parks and Countryside in Luton.
- Monday, 4th of September 2023
- Led by Luton runner
Two Goodgymers cycled to the outskirts of Luton town to work in a wooded hilly area known as Bradgers Hill. Trevor and Katherine led the team of trusty conservation volunteers who turn out regularly to assist with keeping our green spaces in good order. Today's task began with lighting a fire (Yes ! Let's warm things up a bit !) to consume the trimmings from a previous clearance effort and then we started on re-establishing an overgrown path in order to see a clear way through the scrub.
