I laced up my boots and was back on parkwalker duties at Southampton parkrun this morning. The weather held out and over 1000 runners and walkers got out of the house to enjoy the fresh air.

I really love the parkwalker role, you get to enjoy the 5k whilst also chatting, encouraging and motivating those around you. Today was no different and it was lovely to chat to people and enjoy the fresh air.

I was number 1063, slightly gutted I wasn't 1066!
