  • Also myself and Wayne will be heading to the Brutal Spider Hill 10km event on Saturday for some mud and water running!
  • James can't resist a medal and will be racing at 'Run Forst Run' event this Sunday - a 5km run to the woods, 1km obstacles, mud and water, followed by a 5km back.
  • Well done to Katie for reaching 10 Good Deads!!
  • Remember if you hoping to come along to the Christmas meal on the 11th December at the Red Lion in Horsell then can you please let me know by the end of this week.

Tonight's Group Run

Tonight we met at WWF which is next to the canal. With lights on, we headed down the canal towards Woodham Parish Church.
Tonight at Woodham Parish Church we were greeted by Wayne who was bearing gifts of drinks called Esprala - it was very yummy - Thank you . We were then met by the ever so organised Adrian. We had Wayne, Adam and James on leaf patrol. Clearing the leaves along the drive way and car park. Wayne not releasing there was a trigger to his leaf blower and having no power what so ever. Katie was taken into the hall for some hoovering. Mark has sponge duty, sponging the walls and making the mud vanish. Owen was showing off his tall side and managed to reach a door frame, sanding and painting. Then myself, Hayley, Tom and Rebecca were sanding the doorway before painting it with an undercoat. So we were all kept very busy! A massive well done to everyone and great effort by all. Reunited before heading off, it was time for a quick group photo.

A good bye to Wayne who headed back home after the good deed and off back towards the canal we went. Once at the canal it was a goodbye to Rebecca, Hayley, Adam, Katie and Owen who headed in the direction of their homes. Just myself, Nick, Tom, Mark and James left to carry on running down the dark canal back towards the meeting point of WWF. Just over 4km in total of running and around 40 mins of hard work at the Church Hall!!

Next week

We will meeting at the leisure Center and heading to the allotment to get in some onions and garlic into the ground. And hopefully see some progress in out cabbages and cauliflower.
