Ms S had asked Goodgym for some help clearing her back garden. Unfortunately after being very active on foot and by bike regularly in the area, for over 12 months Ms S has suffered with a neurological condition which has caused considerable pain and she hasn’t been able to get outside.

Ms S gave instructions of where to find rubbish bags, sheers, loppers and secateurs and asked if I could make a start clearing the overgrown weeds and brambles.

Following the instructions to uncover the secret stash of gardening tools, passing by a well maintained vegetable patch,I surveyed the garden. Half the garden was undercover of brambles and the rest was hiding under trees and bushes. All that could be seen of the steps leading down to the lower level was part of a handrail poking out.

From the listing I was prepared it would likely need more than one mission. An hour and half passed by in a flash. The brown bin was full and there was no rake or brush available today.

Ms S said she would get a hold of a rake and would be grateful to any Goodgymers in the area who may be available if a further mission is listed, especially those super hero’s who are adept at lopping and raking and like to battle brambles.
