Seven cheery GoodGymers met up on Turnham Green to help plant 1000’s of bulbs this morning. Whether it was the mild temperature, the sun shining or the excitement of being back with one of our most regular tasks, we don’t know, but we got stuck in right away.

Kash, Ishan and Sevan had been along to offer help to Cultivate London that morning so they were on a roll and down on their knees first. Michelle and Emily, caffeinated up, quickly followed. Johnny joined in with spot the mini onion-Esque hyacinth bulbs that had been scattered ready for planting, and before long, Lucy arrived to plant the last GG bulb and provide today’s pun.

Many hands make light work thanks to the community coming out to work together. In fact we were so speedy that left enough time for a reenactment of the battle of Turnham Green (!) and a quick group photo before The Ealing double Agents (Sevan and Kash) were off to their third task of the day. While the rest of us headed to Rhythm and Brews for hot drinks and Lucy’s delicious banana and walnut loaf YUM.
