What's Up Beeches?
7 GoodGymers made their way 8.0km to help the Luton Borough Council Parks and Countryside in Luton.

This week the team headed to a giant hedge to give it a good tidy up.
The beech trees making up the hedge have grown up massively so it's more like a row of trees. In the year since we last visited many branches have broken and fallen or left hanging down, generally looking a bit of a mess.
We set to work with hand saws trimming the branches and arranging the big logs nicely along the hedge line for the wildlife to make a home in. The loose dangling branches were brought down safely with good team work and by the end of the session, the area under the trees was nice and clear and tidy.
