It's Wednesday evening, so with laces tied and head torches beaming our lively bunch took a spirited jog down to Old Heath road to clear some litter in the rain.
This quiet alley could be a regular task considering the amount of junk found, this week's top finds were: a pair of trainers, a couple bottles of vodka, condom wrappers and a giant plastic tub that required its own personal drop off. We filled several bags whilst Ella and Louise caused chaos for the snails, sorry little fellas.
The pathway cleared and bags dropped off we headed back through our namesake roads; Robert parting at Roberts Road, James Taverly passing the Tavern on James St, Louise passing the loo.
As the evenings get brighter there's plenty of fresh optimism and projects for the coming months. Our crew finished up before heading back for tea and crumpets, because that's what Wednesdays are all about.

Great report!
I'm so sorry I couldn't make my first run on Wednesday, circumstances conspired against me.
No worries Matthew, we do have a little community mission on sunday if you like 🙂
