T'was the day before Christmas and all through the church, was a warm glow of community and Santa Claus merch (well a hat). 🎅
In a heartwarming show of generosity and care, supporting vulnerable families the Goodgymers were there. 🌟
Lots of families helped, some big and some small, in these uncertain times, we must help one and all. 👪
With baked beans, bread and eggs 🥚 the boxes were brimming, fresh fruit, juice and yogurts they had all breakfast trimmings.
For the families supported this was more than just food, and togetherness evokes a real festive mood.
The boxes all came with a chocolaty treat, as at Christmas it's always nice to have something sweet. 🍫
The team worked real hard to get everything done, like the 3 musketeers, one for all, all for one.
As the session ended and the church doors closed tight,
Merry Christmas from Goodgym and to all a good night.
Merry Christmas 🎄 🎅 🧑🎄 🦌 ❄️ ⛄️

Christmas is here and Breakfast Battery Boxes in Sundon Park held the first day of their Christmas school holiday project. It was a busy morning with nearly 20 families supported with a food hamper filled with Breakfast items (and 1 or 2 little chocolatey extras, as it is Christmas). Fredrick took part in his first Goodgym task and we all worked with volunteers from the local community to get these food parcels distributed efficiently. Great effort everyone, well done

Breakfast Battery Boxes reached out today for some help to prep the store room for this months holiday project. This task involved putting up 2 shelves and restocking them with donations that were dropped off today. Charmaine and myself worked with a BBB volunteer to build the 2 shelf units and then we organised Jams, long life milk, eggs and other goodies ready for next week. it was an hour well spent and will help the projects to run a little smoother next week
