Tonight the Shri Guru Ravidass Sangat temple in Luton held their 3rd curry cooking class as part of the near neighbours funded project they are currently running. 9 of Luton Goodgyms finest were there to support with hosting the event. Preparing, cooking and eating food as well as washing up and tidying away. Everyone got stuck in from buttering roti to laying out plates, there was a job for everyone. Well done team 👏, keep doing Luton proud 👏

12 of Goodgym Luton's team turned out to support the Shri Guru Ravidass Sangat temple with the 2nd curry cooking sessions of their current Near Neighbours funded project. Helping with prep, cooking and cleaning up the team really helped to make the evening run smoothly. We welcomed Mugahid to his first session and after some brief introductions, he got stuck in and showed he'll be a great member if our Team. Well done all. thanks for a great evening

17th August marked 3 years since the first GoodGym Luton group run and task, so it was a good time to have a social to celebrate. Although there were fewer of us than last year (so many people have holidays at this time of year), what we lacked for in numbers we made up for in enthusiasm. Gill put on a fabulous spread in her back garden, including a celebratory GoodGym Pavlova. Associate Goodgymer Anabel also enjoyed the GoodGym Key Lime Pie! After food had been digested with lots of chatter and snoozing there was then an opportunity to get involved in some activity - perfect way to burn off those calories. Perhaps we need to set up a regular GoodGym badminton team... or perhaps not. 😂😂😂

Today 6 of Luton Goodgym's finest helped the Friends of Leagrave Park with thier monthly community litterpick. The team was joined by members of the local community and Kevin from ABCD-IN-LUTON. We helped to collect around 20 bags of litter, part of a car engine, a bike wheel, a child buggy and of course the somewhat obligatory shopping trolley. Pam got a lovely picture of some ducks in the river enjoying a swim on a hot day, we could have all got in but people might have thought we were quackers The park looked much tidier for our efforts. Well done today team 👏 fantastic effort 👌
