After a 5k run at Blickling this morning (mine and Michaela’s first park run ever, Elizabeth’s first at Blickling), we re-grouped at Green Lane View care home in Aylsham for the task. Brilliantly organised, the bags and gardening tools were ready waiting for us to get the front area weeded and trimmed, although not much went ahead before we’d all had a much needed cup of tea. We spent an hour and a half removing overgrown weeds and trimming the shrubs at the front entrance of the care home, leaving a neat impressive green area for the visitors to walk past. The residents have commented how they’re much happier with the views from their flats, giving them a nice lookout from their windows.
