Greene King (pub and hotel chain) is running "Tub2Pub", a recycling scheme to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Trust and to recycle plastic sweet and biscuit tubs and save them from going into landfill.

This is the final chance to participate in the Tub2Pub challenge, and your chance to have a spring clean at home and check for any empty sweet or biscuit tubs that you have polished off during the last days of January.

  • Sign up here to say you're doing the task

  • Take one or more empty plastic sweets, chocolates or biscuits/crackers tubs to a Greene King pub, restaurant or hotel (you can walk, run, cycle or choose your own preferred method of travel). It doesn't have to be in Luton.

  • Give the tub in over the bar or at reception

  • Take a selfie (preferably in your GoodGym shirt) handing over the tub (or of the tub in the pub).

  • Share the selfie in the GoodGym Luton WhatsApp group anytime before 8pm on 5th January

I will then add your name to the register list for the task and will post your photos in the task report.

Our nearest Greene King Pubs who are accepting tubs are: Jolly Topers LU2 7SP, Biscot Mill LU3 1AS, Hansom Cab LU2 8AB, Jolly Milliner LU3 2JR, but you can take them to any Greene King establishment.

(NB Greene King includes Hungry Horse)
