'Ta' very much

If you ever want a quick leg and ab workout, then this is ideal for you!
A 'tabata' consists of 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off, for 4 minutes. It involves a lot of stamina in set muscle groups.
As always, we started with a bit of a chat before the pain (sorry I mean fun) began. Then we got down and dirty (not literally) and started with the squat tabata. Looking at a screen of several GoodGymers holding a squat position made me contemplate if everyone had had a vindaloo for lunch but luckily not. That was definitely the 'easier' of the two workouts of the evening.
Next up was the ab tabata where you hold a v-sit for 20 seconds then rest for 10 seconds... repeated 8 times. During this workout, you can't look at the screen but I started to get concerned as the longer the workout went on, the more vivid noises started to appear from various folk on my laptop.
You will never hear such a sigh of relief (no I'm not talking about the vindaloo again) when I said "and rest" after the 8th set.
It was great to catch up with everyone virtually and look forward to the next one :-)

Are you sure you gave us 20 seconds rest after each squat??? 🤔 It definitely felt less than that 😆
🤣 it was hard 🤪
You’re right, it was 10 seconds rest... I’ve corrected it now 😂
