We met up tonight to make the parks a bit cleaner, after a glorious day they had certainly had their use by the Cardiff folk. To spice it up, we gave out the BINGO sheets, prizes for a line, the most unusual item and of course, ultimate GLORY to the winner with the most items ticked off.

Michael was still recovering from injury so walked the park like a lost soul, occasionally joining the litter pickers for a chat and some photos. The competitive nature of the goodgymers came out tonight - as soon as prizes were mentioned, but they also did need reminding not to just look for items on the list and to actually pick up 'regular' litter.

As we enjoyed the sun, we chatted about our recent social playing ice-less curling, and the next two being planned - Darts at Flight Club and the Summer Park Party. Time to get those wooden games out again.

As we ended the evening, 5 bags of rubbish later, there was a clear winner - Aimee and Fiona who were only two items away from a full house. A well deserved win indeed - and a donated bottle of Malbec on it's way to you. Darren won for the Mickey Mouse watch that was found (and partly for those Rhythmic Gymnastic Moves) some new race bib magnets and finally as it's goodgym - EVERYONE WINS, so chocolates were handed out for the lines that everyone got.

Join us next week as we head back to Cwtch to do a final tidy up of the garden space, ready for their teddy bears picnic over the coronation weekend. sign up here
