On a very cold evening we set to work cleaning two of the buses the Rose Road Association uses to support disabled children and young people to access community activities. We started by filling and ferrying buckets of water across the car park. Now with the temperature we were a bit concerned we'd make the car park icy, but we needn't have worried about that because the water froze onto the bus so problem solved! Exterior cleaning abandoned we set to work cleaning the interior (while Helen deiced the exterior!). It was great to see Hannah back so to show her how happy we were to see her we gave her full bin bag and hoover privileges! With a little help from a planking me we managed to get all the dirt out of the runners on the bus that are used to clip seats and wheelchairs. Lauren was top polisher and will now be coaching us all in jump skills so we can take a better final photo! We can't wait to go back and help Rose Road again soon.
