3 Luton Goodgymers met with Konni from FoPP/Edible Hightown to do a litterpick IN the River Lea behind bide-a-while.
This stretch of the river had dried up in recent weeks so we were able to get in and get to some rubbish that we wouldn't have been able to, had the water been flowing.
Some of the litterpick bingo items found on this occaison, were a bicycle, a children's tricycle, a kissing gate and a large sheet of corrugated iron. There were also 6 bags of litter and 3 bags of recycling ♻️.
It was a lovely hour well spent on a Sunday morning.
Well done team 👏 👏 👏

We came together once again to prepare and enjoy a hearty, healthy meal – featuring delicious chickpea curry, hot rotis, comforting dal, cooling yogurt, a fresh salad, and creamy Seviyaan milk pudding for dessert. The kitchen was alive with energy – pans sizzling, rotis puffing, black pepper grinding, and yes, plenty of washing up! We all sat down together to share a nutritious meal made with love and teamwork. Big thanks to all the GoodGym Member and temple in making the session a success.

4 Luton Goodgymers helped the Shri Guru Ravidass Sangat temple with their 3rd curry cooking class. There was some amazing chapati rolling skills on show from Adrian and Yazed has pot washing skills that would put any kitchen hand to shame. Everyone got stuck in to support this fantastic project. Great effort, well done team 👏 👏

8 Luton Goodgymers came together to help host one of the latest sessions of cooking classes at the Shri Guru Ravidass Sangat Gudwara in town. This event is a great opportunity to support a fantastic local organisation and meet and meet others who are really interested in what we as Goodgymers do. We cooked Several rice dishes, sweet and savoury. Chick pea curry, paneer curry and rota's. After cooking, we ate and then helped the Aunties clean down the kitchen. This was a really fun evening.
