For the first time in a long time, a Wednesday actually felt like a Wednesday!

It was so nice to see a smiling group of GoodGymers ready to run on a Wednesday night. A whole gang of red and black t-shirts, some having their first outing (although a local dog didn't think much of Tony's wings...)

Once we had all arrived and various plants, school uniform and porridge had been stashed in panniers we headed east. The keen beans ran on the beach and a few had an accidental paddle. The rest of us stuck to the prom to stay a bit more sure-footed.

After 15 minutes it was an about turn and back to the Coffee Cup into a headwind. Big kudos to Lucy who ran from Cosham and headed back again, that's some good mileage covered this evening.

Next week, it's a hen run before Rosie gets married. Bring a top for afterwards and we'll stay for a cuppa on the beach. Anyone who's at St Faith's can come down and join us afterwards too.

Thanks to Dr Jo, Jo North and Maxine for the photos.
