The Friends of Meath Gardens is a community organisation that is fighting to save, maintain and improve our green spaces. Meath Gardens, formerly Victoria Park Cemetery, is a large green area nestled next to Mile End Park. You can reach it over the footbridge near the Palm Tree and the Mile End Climbing Wall, or from Smart Street.

Come and revisit this popular task as we join Friends of Meath Gardens for a gardening bonanza!

Tonight's task: everything you need to know

  • We will meet by the Meath Gardens Tool shed (next to the basket ball court) at 7pm prompt.

  • We will divide into teams to shift a woodpile, dig a wooden border and pick some litter.

  • Please bring your own gloves if you have them.
