I clocked up an extra deed this week whilst my kids were building forts at the adventure playground I helped clear out an overgrown flower bed and battle back a fushia ready for their next round of planting.

Our task tonight was very in-keeping with the GoodGym colour scheme - painting a wall bright red and glossing skirting boards and door frames black!

Catherine, Katie and Laura were Team Red (after Jen was demoted after making a mess), whilst Andy and Dave headed up Team Black.

Tracey undertook a mid-task mission to buy some additional paintbrushes from Asda to make sure we finished the job.

Laura and Catherine ended up in a bizarre big broom / little broom sweep-off, with Catherine creating the new squat-sweeping technique.

We'll be back in the Pantry in a few weeks to finish what we started - will be great to see you there!
