Another early Saturday morning start saw 11 of us meeting up at Eastney to start our litter pick. A big welcome back to Aimee who joined us for her 2nd community mission this morning. We split into 2 groups, Amiee, Angela, Kat, Jo, Sarah and Rajintha tackled the rubbish on the shoreline and Judy, Maura, Maxine, Mel and Rachel focused higher up on the beach.

Considering the weather has been warmer the rubbish wasn't as bad as it has been. Apart from the usual finds of bbqs, cans, bottle tops, sweet wrappers and fishing line and hooks. Interesting finds were a pair of sunglasses, Elsa from Frozen, and a weird long needle that we still don't know what it could be used for.

After the beach clean some of us headed into the sea for a dip, where we were joined by Jen fresh from her night shift and Rosie who was out on a run. Another fabulous morning with Goodgym.
