Firstly, a big welcome to Ssapan and Ranjitha who joined us tonight. It was Ssapan's first good deed and Ranjitha's second as she got one in just before lockdown! Hopefully there will be lots more opportunities for good deeds in the next few weeks and months.

Tonight's task was helping to get the John Pounds Centre garden area back under control ready for the nursery to reopen on Monday and hopefully the rest of the centre in the not too distant future.

Ranjitha and Ssapan tackled one flower bed with Vicki and John in another corner (with a lot of brambles). Lynn was sculpting a rose of Sharon into a chicken (or was it a boat?) and I was finding very sharp thorns in the mysterious greenery that appeared to be growing mini pumpkins.

After an hour and a half we'd cleared a lot of greenery, added to the huge pile of big branches, filled numerous bags and recovered various toys belonging to the nursery.

Another area cleared, tomorrow morning it's the beach clean & then afternoon at the Lido with a Great Salterns litter pick on Sunday morning. Plenty more good deeds will be happening this weekend!
