The usual monthly Baffins litter pick was relocated to the back alley of Grest Salterns today after local residents raised the area as a concern to the BPA.

A mighty team of GoodGymmers alongside the BPA Volunteers cleared copious amounts of rubbish, recycling and fly-tipped items. In a game of litter pick bingo, we must have got a full house - laughing gas cannisters, a bottle full of wee and a pair of pants were amongst the delightful finds. We paid homage to a patriotic swathe of woodlice who had taken up residence in an England football shirt.

The one disappointment of the day was our failure to retrieve a bike tyre from up a tree. Several tactics were tried, but not even Tony with his long wood was able to reach it! 😅
