Struggling to run and talk at the same time since 2017. Speed by name, not by nature.

Our task tonight was very in-keeping with the GoodGym colour scheme - painting a wall bright red and glossing skirting boards and door frames black!
Catherine, Katie and Laura were Team Red (after Jen was demoted after making a mess), whilst Andy and Dave headed up Team Black.
Tracey undertook a mid-task mission to buy some additional paintbrushes from Asda to make sure we finished the job.
Laura and Catherine ended up in a bizarre big broom / little broom sweep-off, with Catherine creating the new squat-sweeping technique.
We'll be back in the Pantry in a few weeks to finish what we started - will be great to see you there!

What did we learn from this task....?
Squirrels don't like to get up too early on cold mornings, so it's difficult to engage with them on the morning school run; they are elusive in rural woodland with fabulous trees, probably because there are plenty of other nearby places to hang out; they won't come down from their tree to play with an eager Jack Russell.
But, they do enjoy pieces of apple; they like to pose beautifully for a photo; and unfortunately there will always be litter to collect in the areas where they live.
Well done for cleaning up for them and getting out on a cold, grey day to enjoy outdoor spaces.

There were GoodGymers and milestones galore this evening for our visit to North End Baptist Church.
Congratulations to Abby on her 200th Good Deed (and cape-wearing efforts!) and to Katie on her 400th!
There was no divide-and-conquer this evening, with everyone taking on firstly the front garden and then back. Weeds were pulled, litter was picked and the area generally spruced up.
Plenty of caterpillar friends were made along the way, and the poo-enthusiasts of the group had fun differentiating between cat and fox dollops.
Deacon Catherine was very impressed with the team's efforts. Well done, everyone!

We run an active Church and food pantry and it would make visiting our Church more appealing to the community we serve

After some very wholesome plant-dealing in the FCC car park, we made our return to PARCS, this time to tidy up their front garden.
Nia and Maura met us at the task and had already cleared a significant amount of litter before the running squad had even arrived!
Katie was back as our bin-jumper-in-chief and Dave was so inspired he even had a turn at the end of the session.
I think there were new levels of euphemism reached this evening - I am genuinely impressed. Not sure there was anything quite PG enough for the Run Report this evening!
The team made swift work of pruning the hedge and de-weeding the driveway - I'm sure the team will be very impressed when they're back in the morning!
